Wouldn't it be great to have a process that could help define a problem in terms of performance levels and skill or behavioral deficits? In this step the focus will be on how to define the problem and use data to verify that the problem actually exists. There is a section on defining complex problems and another section exploring the 3 tier support model.The final section is an introduction to a case study which follows a student called Andy through the problem solving process.
